Members of SPW visited Linda Pace's contemporary art collection and then enjoyed walking the grounds of Chris Park.
Randy Guthmiller, Manager of Visitor Experiences and Programs at the Linda Pace Foundation's Ruby City, welcomed us and provided an introduction to the museum. Subsequently, we had the opportunity to tour the museum independently, with the Ruby City team available to engage in conversations about the displayed artworks, other exhibitions, and the architecture of the building. Ruby City houses artworks by both local and internationally-acclaimed artists.
Chris Park is a public green space spanning one acre, designed with a rhythmic arrangement of abundant greenery, welcoming walkways, relaxation spots, recreational areas, and, notably, artistic encounters.
Finally, we enjoyed a tasty lunch at Camp Outpost, where we had the opportunity to reconnect with our SPW friends and neighbors.
Many thanks to Mary Young for arranging this wonderful outing! A wonderful time was had by all.
